Luxury 60m superyacht reported to sink in Tha Chin River, Thailand

According to reports from the Bangkok Post, a 60 meter superyacht M/Motor_Yacht_Fox_sinks_after_launch_in_ThailandFOX has sunk after it was launched into the Tha Chin River in Samut Sakhon’s Muang district in Thailand on Friday.
Reports from Yacht Forums were the 60m superyacht was a British Flagged yacht.  When the newly built luxury motor yacht M/Y FOX began to sink just after its launch, around 200 workers of a private yacht building company tried in vain to adjust cables attached to the superyacht.

The yacht M/Y FOX continued to sink while the workers erected buoys in the hope of keeping it afloat. Unfortunatley however, the buoys could not support the vessel’s 1,000 tonne weight. Witnesses said the yacht tipped sideways and water gushed into its interior.
