30 May 2012, Fort Lauderdale, FL: Founded in 1989 and now well into its 20s, the International Superyacht Society (ISS) will again celebrate yacht design and industry leadership with the only superyacht industry awards program based purely on peer review and selection at its Annual International Awards for Design and Leadership on 25 October 2012, the opening day of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. Today, ISS unveils the Awards Gala theme: World Adventures!
The Society—presently in its 23rd year as the voice of the global large yacht industry—also hosts a number of memorable annual events during the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Its Annual Membership Breakfast always features a presentation of key importance, is free to ISS members and is open to non ISS members at a nominal cost. YachtInfo, the evolution of ISS’s Crew Seminars and now in its fourth year, is a collaborative project of a number of the world’s leading associations, including ISS and USSA.Specific information regarding these events follows.
